Audacious is the crew’s pride and joy. She’s a 48’ Scott Robson, purchased in January 2017. She was out of the water for 11 months, with lots of hard work and care invested in her restoration, all so she can be on top of her game.
The boat is fast for a big boat, cruising at an average speed of 17-19 knots. Featuring a stable platform, the vessel will provide room for 8 guests during day trips, while overnight trips can accommodate up to 6 guests. The boat has a private bathroom with a shower, a fully functional kitchen, a bedroom, and a fighting chair for the most vigorous of fishing duels.

This luxury launch has a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor areas. The broad cockpit provides ample space for both serious fishing and alfresco dining.
Audacious is located at Marsden Cove Marina, Whangarei. Free parking is provided.
Welcome aboard - Please contact the Nik Key on your arrival, he will meet you at the gate of entry.
Preparation for a day on the water.
Please bring a warm jacket and wear suitable footwear (preferably white soled) and sun screen, if you are expecting to swim in our pristine ocean, please bring your own costume and towel.
Food/Refreshments: If this is a catered trip, all food and refreshments will be provided, please advise if you have special dietary needs? If BYO food and refreshments, all Cutlery/crockery is provided. We have on board, dishwasher, cook top, microwave/convection oven, BBQ.
The skipper will give a safety briefing and outline the day’s activities together with the expected weather for the day and approximate return time. All safety equipment will be provided.
Fishing Equipment: SFV provide all the latest fishing gear for jigging (Rods, reels and lures etc.) and will show you how to rig them and fish them for success. SFV are involved in testing and refining lures for the market (we write articles for NZ FishingNews on our findings). We hope to pass these findings on to our clients and hopefully catch them a fish of a life time!
Trip cancellation: A Storm warning will cause cancellation and or postponement to another date.
A wind warning may mean a change of plans, destination and the days schedule (skipper will advise) Please enjoy your day on Eagle Magic.
